Dr. Yi Jin received her doctoral degree from Iowa State University with specializations in Curriculum Instructional Technology and Literacy Education. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation. Her research concerns technology integration and learning technologies in formal and informal learning spaces, emphasizing Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), maker education, and computer science education. She teaches courses that prepare preservice and in-service teachers for technology integration.
