Kevin J. Graziano

Kevin J. Graziano is a professor of teacher education in the School of Education at Nevada State College in Henderson, Nevada. He teaches educational technology courses to preservice and inservice teachers and conducts research on teachers’ technology integration in the classroom. His research has appeared in publications such as Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education (CITE), the Journal of Technology and Teacher Education (JTATE), Journal of Digital Learning in Teacher Education (JDLTE), TechTrends, Journal of Online Learning Research (JOLR), Journal of Teaching and Learning with Technology, and the Internet Learning Journal. He has also authored several book chapters and serves on editorial boards for numerous educational technology journals. 

Kevin is the recipient of several research and teaching awards. His passion for training others on educational technology has crossed international borders. In 2012, he received a Fulbright Specialist grant from the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, to provide training on educational technology to preservice teachers and teacher educators from Sakhnin College in Sakhnin, Israel. In 2012, he also completed two international fellowships at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and the Marino Institute of Education in Dublin, Ireland where he trained preservice teachers and teacher educators on photovoice and educational technology. During his sabbatical in 2015, he worked with teachers at a newcomer high school to flip the math curriculum.

Kevin co-authored international research that led to the development of the Teacher Educator Technology Competencies (TETCs) (https://www.learntechlib.org/p/181966/), which have impacted teacher education and the preparation of teacher candidates. He contributed to and co-edited two books, Online Teaching in K–12: Models, Methods, and Best Practices for Teachers and Administrators (2016) published by Information Today and Championing Technology Infusion in Teacher Preparation: A Framework for Supporting Future Educators (2020) published by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Kevin also served as a guest editor for a 2019 special issue of JTATE entitled Preparing All Teacher Educators to Support Teacher Candidates’ Integration of Technology (https://www.learntechlib.org/primary/j/JTATE/v/27/n/4/).

Kevin is the current chair of the Consultative Council for the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE), former chair of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s (AACTE) Committee on Innovation and Technology, and former co-chair of SITE’s mobile learning special interest group.
